This is a nine-and-a-half infomercial for a video game starring David Hasselhoff. It will never come off my portfolio.

My first production was an infomercial starring David Hasselhoff. It’s a bit of a long story on how we arrived at this particular deliverable – and what kind of video game advertises via informercial anyway – but it remains some of my best comedic writing. The entire nine minute piece is ridiculous, but give credit to the Hoff, who was a true professional with a sense of humor about himself.

There were various limitations for this piece, given timing (about two weeks) and budget (zero). But from this long-form content, we also created a David Hasselhoff soundboard and a bot that answered an actual working 800-number. We found our audience fairly easily, and they definitely responded positively.
